The Determinator de păsări is the first application in Romania that helps bird enthusiasts identify 157 common bird species in the country. The app is translated and adapted to the conditions in the country by the Milvus Group Association, with the support of the Hungarian Ornithological and Nature Conservation Society and the Youth Association Wolf wolves. With the help of the app, users can search for birds based on their appearance, habitat, and feather color. The species will appear according to frequency and season, making it easier for users to identify the bird they have seen.
In addition to the bird identification feature, the app also includes an encyclopedia of birds, with descriptions, illustrations, and sounds of all the species available in the application. Users can also test their knowledge about the most common birds in Romania with the app's game feature. The app has 269 images and 203 specific sounds, with more to be added soon.
